La Fortezza Medicea di San Martino is located in San Piero a Sieve. The building has a polygonal form, consisting of embankments and seven bulwarks. Inside stands a chapel and the keep. The fortress was built on the part of Cosimo I June 30, 1569, designed by Baldassarre Bolt, which ended after by Simone Genga and Bernardo Buontalenti.
