San Piero a Sieve

The village of San Piero a Sieve located in the province of Florence. Among the existing old buildings are the Villa Medici, Trebbio, medieval style. They were maintained over time a guard tower, moat and drawbridge, while the walkway with corbels, was added later. Inside is a well with his garden built on two terraces, yet unusual for the time. Another building of great value is the Medici fortress of San Martino, built on commission from Cosimo I on June 30, 1569.
